On Sunset Restaurant
The hotel’s stylishly designed indoor/outdoor restaurant presents the celebrated cuisine of Luxe Executive Chef Olivier Rousselle. Sleekly modernized in 2006, the setting of “On Sunset” restaurant at our Bel-Air hotel is relaxed, comfortable, and very private. “On Sunset” is known for its exquisite lunch and dinner menus featuring seasonal California fare with a fresh French twist.
Chef Olivier Rousselle has created a lunch menu with a range of options for the “On Sunset” restaurant that includes fresh entrée salads, comfort food-style sandwiches such as the Ahi Tuna Melt with Seared Ahi, Swiss Cheese, Tomato and Dijon Mustard on fresh baked Olive Bread; and entrees such as Black Mussels “Paysanne” with White Wine, Applewood Bacon, Shallots, Crème Fraiche and Shoestring Potatoes; and Roasted Organic Chicken Breast with Potato Gnocchi, Sauteed Haricots Vert with Tarragon-Citrus Pan Sauce.
For dinner, there is a California fresh inspired menu that features appetizers such as Baked Crispy Goat Cheese Salad with Mixed Baby Greens, Pickled Zucchini, Roasted Baby Beets with a Honey Vinaigrette, and Ahi Tuna Tartar with Heirloom Tomato-Yuzu Broth and Taro Chips. Dinner entrees include Braised Short Rib Risotto in Port Glaze with Shaved Parmesan and Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Roasted Jidori Chicken Breast with Seasonal Mushroom Ragout, and Maui Onion Sauce; Herb Roasted Rack of Lamb with Olive Oil Mashed Potatoes, Caponata, and Purple Mustard Sauce. Sides include Shoestring Fries, Glazed Baby Vegetables, Carrot-Ginger Puree, Grilled Olive Oil Asparagus, Roasted Provencal Fingerling Potatoes and Crispy Herb Spaetzle.
The Sunday Luxe Jazz Brunch combines a delectable offering of hot menu items and performances by a talented Jazz Trio. Dine on the sunny patio or inside on the restaurant’s cushy banquette. A variety of tempting dishes awaits you. Daily hours: Breakfast/lunch: 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner served 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday Luxe Brunch: 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Luxe Lounge
Just off the lobby, hotel guests, Bel-Air and Brentwood neighbors alike mingle in the hotel's airy, comfortable and casual Luxe Lounge. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. the lounge offers a full array of select boutique wines, beer and mixed drinks including seasonal cocktails such as a blood orange or pomegranate martinis. A tasty sampling of small plates and appetizers is also available. Selections range from Luxe signature pizzas prepared in our on-site pizza oven, panini sandwiches, truffle pomme frittes (French fries with a truffle accent), Kobe beef mini-burgers, mini-Ahi tuna burgers, cheese plates and artisan made fresh bread.
